Yes! I am accepting new clients. Typically new clients can be seen within one week of their free consultation call. It can be hard to reach out to a new mental health care provider, so it is important to me to make the process as easy as possible.
I offer free 15-minute phone consultations to discuss reasons and goals for seeking therapy and to determine whether working together may be a good fit. .
An initial 60-minute intake, which includes a diagnostic assessment and treatment planning, is $275.
The fee for a typical 45-minute session is $215. My fee for a 90-minute session of couples therapy is $300.
I hold a limited number of reduced fee spots for clients who would not otherwise be able to afford out-of-pocket treatment. Please get in touch for more information.
I am an out of network (OON) provider meaning I do not work with any insurance panels. Many insurance companies have some out of network reimbursement for mental health care. On a monthly basis, I will provide you with a "superbill" that includes all the information your insurance provider needs in order for you to access those benefits.
I work with adults of all ages and teens 14 and up.
Currently, I do not see clients in-person, though this is subject to change. I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy service that can be accessed from your phone or computer without having to download any software. Recent research (e.g., Lin et al., 2022; Clinical Psychology: Science and Practice) shows teletherapy is effective for a range of psychological problems and provides outcomes comparable to traditional in-person treatment.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of what your medical and mental health services may cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
